1998514 Ontario Inc. ("Charity Corp") and four related film production companies — 5019233 Ontario Ltd. ("Bordello Corp"), 5005070 Ontario Inc. ("Apprentice Corp"), 5026173 Ontario Inc. ("Clive Corp") and 5032807 Ontario Inc. ("Family Corp") — are the subject of an active court-appointed receivership under section 243 of the BIA. Each borrowed from 7032749 Canada Inc., which holds general security agreements over all present and future assets, film production security agreements, and assignments and directions over tax credits, minimum guarantees and distribution revenue. As of March 31, 2024, the balances stated as due were CAD 1,481,446.90 (Charity Corp), CAD 2,095,079.98 (Bordello Corp), CAD 1,517,373.95 (Apprentice Corp), CAD 2,889,849.89 (Clive Corp) and CAD 3,181,594.86 (Family Corp), on which no payments were received. Sancor Holdings Inc., a related party, and Carlo Liconti guaranteed the loans, each supporting its guarantee with its own general security agreement to the lender. The loan to Charity Corp has matured, and demand and a notice of intention to enforce security were delivered on February 8, the year of which is stated inconsistently in the record.
