1512632 Ontario Inc., operating as Cheema and Sons Transport, and 2856586 Ontario Inc. are in court-appointed receivership under section 243(1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and section 101 of the Courts of Justice Act. Royal Bank of Canada applied for the appointment of Grant Thornton Limited as receiver on May 2, 2025, and the Superior Court of Justice granted the receivership order on June 12, 2025, under court file CV-25-00002373-0000.
