101025963 Saskatchewan Ltd. and 102023806 Saskatchewan Ltd. were placed into court-ordered receivership on October 13, 2021, when the Court of Queen's Bench for Saskatchewan appointed Grant Thornton Limited receiver on the application of Royal Bank of Canada (court file no. QBG 1040 of 2021), under section 243(1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, section 65(1) of The Queen's Bench Act, 1998 and section 64(8) of The Personal Property Security Act, 1993. As at October 28, 2021, the companies' combined assets were reported at $2,981,046, made up chiefly of land and building ($2,026,274) and equipment and paving assets ($783,644). Royal Bank of Canada was owed approximately $1,528,000 plus interest, fees and costs; Affinity Credit Union, Service Canada and two individual PPSA claimants, James Glen Taylor and Jill Louise Taylor, also held registered security interests. The receivership remains active.
